Inspiration behind the “Pools and Palms Collection”
POOLS! A theme I’ve been drawn to for quite some time. Growing up in Florida, pools were a place I spent a lot of time as a kid- as a young child during the summer and in high school as a swimmer! I went on to teach science at a marine institute and get scuba certified and swimming is in my blood. Shade, Rest, Motherhood: exploring beachscapes through a slower season
There was something magical about moving my studio space this summer into our beloved boathouse that I can’t quite put my finger on… I am so excited to announce the release date of a new body of work, entitled “Onshore”.
