It’s October, and I’m on the doorstep of my last baby’s first birthday. For some reason, it has brought me to a place of great reflection lately. I feel the need to hibernate, to write, to continue to create, and to lean in to what this season of life has to pour out for me. "Onshore" was a theme or a concept that came to me in 2020. Typically when I have a child, I have an intense period of rest for about a year both physically and creatively.
