POOLS! A theme I’ve been drawn to for quite some time. Growing up in Florida, pools were a place I spent a lot of time as a kid- as a young child during the summer and in high school as a swimmer! I went on to teach science at a marine institute and get scuba certified and swimming is in my blood. Here are some fun behind the scenes of my recent Paper Sea Collage Workshop. I shared my process when it comes to collage, and how it had affected my work and my process as an artist. There was something magical about moving my studio space this summer into our beloved boathouse that I can’t quite put my finger on… I am so excited to announce the release date of a new body of work, entitled “Onshore”.
