I am two weeks into my “Playful Project”. This week I've had a huge surge of creative energy as themes and patterns began to emerge. This week's theme was a sentimental one as I dove into painting portraits of the female members of my family including my grandmothers and great grandmothers which led to a great deal of self reflection and oral storytelling with my children on their stories. This has been a profound and powerful experience for me and I'm still processing this week.
