Walk + Paint Sturgeon Bay Workshop

We will be meeting at my studio and taking a walk around town to do some sketching/painting. We will work with the same materials Andrea uses to paint including: 8x10 wood panel, small sketchbook, gouache, acrylic paint, water soluble crayons, and oil pastels. All necessary supplies will be provided. However each participant is encouraged to bring a Polaroid or Phone for taking reference photos, a bag for carrying supplies, a water bottle, and a snack.
This is a two-day workshop. We will be walking around Sturgeon Bag to sketch and paint- including making the trek over the famous Steel Bridge!. We will return to the studio for lunch and work to discuss composition, photos we took, and work to start our paintings after lunch. Then we will return to the studio for a second day to finish painting them!
Beginner to advanced- all art skill levels are welcome. Come with an open mind and ready to be creative and paint. Adults only 18+. Portable Plein aire painting stand recommended or blanket to sit.
