Children’s Felt Embroidery Book Workshop

Come and create a 5x7 felt book using embroidery, collage techniques, and felt cutouts. Inspired from Andrea Naylor’s own process work she does with her children- she will be leading the workshop and sharing how doing this specific craft both inspires her process as an artist and she utilizes as a way to craft and connect with her own children. You will learn about various artists and cultures who use embroidery to tell stories and create beautiful crafts/art. We will be embroidering  with needle and thread, and using felt, beads, sewing and/or glue to finish your final piece.

This workshop is recommended for ages 5+, child must be able to work with scissors safely. If you are worried about your child getting messy, please feel free to bring an artist smock or apron as they are not provided. All materials we will be working with will be washable. 

Snacks and refreshments will be served. $45 Price includes 2 tickets ( one adult and one child under 18) and class is limited to 16 people. Each additional parent or child attendee is $20. Adult must be present as one of the ticket holders for the entire workshop.
