Fabric Collage Flowers and Still Life Workshop

Date: Thursday, May 14, 6-8pm at Andrea Naylor Studio + Gallery 45 S 3rd Street, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin 54235

Come and create an Original Floral Collage using linen, cotton, and vintage fabrics, scissors, thread, and glue. All supplies are provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own fabrics that may be sentimental to them- such as a grandmother’s quilt, wedding dress piece, or child’s clothing. Inspired from Andrea Naylor’s Flowers on Paper Collection- she will be leading the workshop and sharing how collage and sewing inspires her process as an artist. You will learn about Henry Matisse and various artists who use paper or cutouts as their primary medium- using both thread and glue to finish your piece.
