Traveling Sketchbook Workshop
COMING SOON! Subscribe to our studio email for when this workshop date and seats are announced!
We will be discussing how and why to keep a daily sketchbook and why it’s important for flexing that creative muscle memory or to simply stay unplugged. Andrea will share her treasure trove of sketchbooks for participants to look through and chat about how sketching or creating each day is so important to her art practice. New Sketchbook and supplies will be provided for each participant. Whether you are an artist, musician, baker, mother, or teacher- it’s the perfect way to kick off your summer!
Andrea started her sketchbook practice in 2022 and it transformed her life and her art practice. She participated in the popular "100 Day Project," a creative commitment to make art daily for 100 days. She explored various topics such as family, nature (especially sunflowers), self-portraits, and storytelling, using various mediums like painting and photography to connect with her intuition, heritage, and daily life, documenting these artistic journeys on her online “journal” and social media. Her projects involve daily creation, personal reflection, and sharing the process with her audience, building creative habits and exploring deeper meanings in her art. It was during this time that she fell deeply in love with creating every day, and collage work. She will share more about this journey during the workshop.
Beginner to advanced- all art skill levels are welcome. Adults only 18+. Light refreshments will be provided.
Supplies for this workshop will be ordered in advance based off the number of purchased tickets and because of this, NO REFUNDS will be issued for this class. Please purchase carefully.
