This week, I did some silk screen printing which was SO FUN. Last week I dove into researching symbols and patterns so it was fun to continue to explore this theme this week. I created my own pattern on a screen and then used paint to create a repeating pattern on a large canvas. I created several screens and used a variety of colors on several canvases. This was one of those projects that initially started as “a process project” and quickly got my wheels turning on how I could incorporate screen printing patterns into my work. I'm excited to continue to explore this more!
